Quebec Immigrant Investor Program - Business Immigration to Quebec

Introduction to the Quebec Immigrant Investor Program

Arton Investments is active with international investors on the Quebec Immigrant Investor Program. Foreign investors looking to immigrate to Canada have access to various programs designed to help them secure permanent resident visas and the right to live, work and do business anywhere in Canada. Among such programs, the Immigrant Investor Program offered by Arton Investments is one of the most popular.

Created by the provincial government in 1986, Quebec’s Immigrant Investor Program is designed to allow business people and their families to enter the province of Quebec as permanent residents on an unconditional basis. In return, funding made available through the program helps provide subsidies in support of Quebec small and medium businesses.

Our associate in this Program is Arton Capital (website) led by Mr. Armand Arton, who is one of Arton Investments’s Executive Vice Presidents. Mr. Arton oversees the Quebec Immigrant Investor Program.

Investment Options

There are different ways to make the required investment in order to qualify for the Canadian Immigrant Investor Program. Investors can either deposit the full amount (Full Investment), or Finance the required amount (Financed Investment) from a chartered Canadian bank.

Full Investment

The investor deposits the full amount of CA$ 800,000. No further payment is required.

After five years, CDN $800,000 is returned to the investor with no accrued interest. (The funds are invested in government bonds during the five-year term.)

Financed Investment

The investor pays a reduced amount*, which is used to finance a CA$ 800,000 closed five-year term loan from a chartered bank. No further payment is required. However, the paid amount is not returned to the investor at the end of the five-year period.

This option is particularly attractive for applicants seeking to retain maximum capital for investment in ongoing business operations.

Overview of Canada and Quebec

Open the door to a new world… Canada

A model of diversity, Canada celebrates the advancement of ethnic, religious and cultural freedom, and with it, the freedom to pursue – and realize – one’s dreams. Canada is also one of the G7 countries that invest the most in education. A guarantee of success, the Canadian university diploma is recognized world-wide, and opens the door to a successful career.

Canada is among the world’s leading economies, consistently ranking in the top tier in terms of trade and expansion outlooks. The range of industries it excels in is an apt reflection of the country’s diverse character, as Canada continues to set the standard and attract top talent in aerospace, agrifood, information and communication technologies, life sciences and chemical products, to name a few.
